January 13 – 14, is the time we gather around Eritrea and Eritrean-ness to deliberate on the affairs of our country and relish the richness of our society. The aim is to overcome the internal and regional challenges confronting our people, healing the multi-faceted losses that our people have endured, and more importantly to give hope to our people and to ascertain the vision of our people for the prosperity of our country. In addition, the objective of the program is to explore the image of future Eritrea under a healthy administration through research papers on political, economic, social, cultural and natural sectors of our country. Additionally, Expo Eritrea will pay attention to the condition of Eritreans outside of the country. It includes an exploration of how it is that our people, especially our youth, take advantage of their opportunities available to them. The following specific programs are accordingly planned: • Programs that carry the image of the Eritrean society. • Research and educational programs that explore the national and human resources of Eritrea. • Program that showcases Eritrea’s positive image. • Program that explores questions of the worldwide Eritrean diaspora. • Children’s program. • Art and exhibitions. These being the general content of the two-day national festa, traditional dishes and drinks will be on offer to ensure that they are nourishing to the mind, soul and body of the participants.
